The Millennium Green is a 1.5 acre site situated next to the village hall at the western end of the village.  It was created by villagers with the help of lottery funds and opened in 2000. The green is enjoyed by young and old alike, and hosts the Village Fete and the annual Cross-river Tug of War. Harry’s Wood is 3.5 acres of woodland separated from the green by the grounds of the village hall. Like the green, it is bordered on one side by the river Frome and on the other by the main Dorchester Road (A356). The wood was given to the village by a resident in 1999 and was later transferred to the Frampton Millennium Green Trust, a registered UK Charity. It thus enjoys the same protection as the green, being vested in the Official Custodian for Charities for ever.
