PLEASE HELP - OUR LOVELY CHURCH IS IN NEED OF REPAIR AND RESTORATION

We urgently need to carry out repairs to the roof and around one window in particular.  We need to remove previously applied unsuitable wall coatings and reapply lime wash.  All exterior doors need refurbishing and the oak louvres in the bell tower need to be replaced. All the downpipes and gutterings need repainting.  Many of the pew floors are rotten and need replacing. We will need to find in excess of £25,000 for these repairs.  Other remedial work is required to the structure of the tower to provide damp-proofing to the old "Sheridan Pew".  We are actively seeking restoration grants from various historic buildings trusts, and are diverting all of our fund raising money to this cause.

We have received a grant from Frampton Parish Council Waste Paper Fund for which we are truly grateful, this will be used for timber preservation and infestation eradication work during October 2010.

The stained glass windows are generally in good order but need specialist cleaning and minor repair work.
